Donald W. Banner Diversity Scholarship in Intellectual Property Law

Donald W. Banner Diversity Scholarship in Intellectual Property Law: A scholarship opportunity from Banner & Witcoff, Ltd. is available to all students pursuing a career in intellectual property law. The applicant must be a member of a historically under represented group (including race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and disability) and must have exemplary writing and oral communication skills.
Recipients of the scholarship will receive $5,000 payable for the fall semester of their second or third year of law school. Recipients who accept and successfully complete the Summer Associate Program at the firm of Banner & Whitcoff, LTD may receive an additional $5,000 payable for a subsequent semester of law school.

Applications are being accepted August 1, 2008 through October 10, 2008. Awards will be announced in March 2009.
