Dr Eleanor Drake-Lewis Scholarships 2010

The School of Health and Human Sciences is offering up to three scholarships of £5,000 each for outstanding applicants to the full-time one year Masters in Public Health or MRes Health Studies programmes commencing in October 2010.
The Masters in Public Health (MPH) is a full-time one year programme designed to provide the knowledge, analytic and practical skills needed to fulfil a leadership role in public health whether in the NHS, the developing world or elsewhere.
The MRes Health Studies is a full-time one year course designed to provide the intellectual and practical skills to undertake a substantial health related research project. It consists of six taught modules and a research project.
These programmes are ideal preparation for students wishing to continue to PhD studies in the School of Health and Human Sciences, and those preparing for a career in Public Health or research around health and healthcare.
