Department of Economics at the University of Leicester is offering five part-fee bursaries for September 2013 entry. Bursaries are open to UK/EU applicants for pursuing full-time master’s degree programs. The selection criteria for Master’s Bursaries are the quality of the application.

Applicants must have upper second class honors degree economic, business or accounting analysis and some mathematical or statistical content.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the Department’s academic and English language entry requirements. Students wishing to apply for one of our courses should meet the following entry requirements:
•MSc Economics: An upper second class (2:1) honors degree or equivalent from a recognized university with substantial quantitative analysis and economics.
•MSc Financial Economics: An upper second class (2:1) honors degree or equivalent from a recognized university with economic, business or accounting analysis and some mathematical or statistical content.
•MSc Banking & Finance/MSc Business Analysis & Finance/MSc Money & Banking: An upper second class (2:1) honors degree or equivalent from a recognized university with some quantitative methods; economics or finance courses.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: UK/EU Countries (Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia (Slovak Republic), Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Vatican City) applicants are eligible for these master’s bursaries.
