University of Birmingham is inviting applications for bursaries and excellence scholarships for international students. These bursaries and scholarships are available for undergraduate programmes within the School of Mechanical Engineering in the October 2017 entry.
The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers scholarships to international students applying for undergraduate programmes whose fees are not wholly paid by a sponsoring body.

Scholarship Award: All eligible students will receive an Entry Bursary of £1500 per year. Those whose performance is judged to be excellent will receive an additional Excellence Scholarship of £1,500 per year. Therefore, the best students could receive a total of £12,000 over a four year degree.

- All international Students (for bursary).
- International students with an excellent academic standard (equivalent to AAA at A-level).
Nationality: International students can apply for these excellence scholarships.
How to Apply: There is no special application process – the awards will be made automatically to all eligible students admitted to the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Birmingham who apply by the end of September to commence their studies in the September/October of their year of entry.
Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadline is the end of September.
