I am very much grateful for the good work you are doing. I am a kenyan citizen by birth currently residing in Nairobi. I am seeking a scholarship to enable me undertake my Master of Science in Medical Statisitics at the London School of Hygiene and tropical Medicine.I have already sought admission and have been admitted to study the aforementioned course.My plea is if its possible to get a scholarship for the same otherwise I risk forfeiting my chance due to lack of finance.your suggestions and needful advice towards obtaining a scholarship will be highly appreciated. Hie.
I’m a 23 year old man, and i recently completed an Honors degree in Biological Sciences(degree class 2.1/ upper second) at the university of Zimbabwe. I have a strong passion in entomology, particularly medical entomology.
My country Zimbabwe, by virtue of being situated in Sub-Saharan Africa, is one of the areas hardest hit by the deadly disease malaria. It is however unfortunate that the shortage of African malariologists and technicians is acute, and concerned control activities have all but ceased in many countries. It makes me particularly sad that although Zimbabwe is amongst the most hit areas, little work is being done to combat malaria and not a single medical entomologist is being trained at the moment because no msc programmes in this field are available in the country.

I therefore seek an opportunity ie. full scholarship, including travel, living expense and tuition to study abroad(MSc, MPhil and/or PHD in medical entomology) and make significant contributions in the fight malaria in my country and world over.

I would be sincerly gratefull for any assistance from you.

I’m a multilingual (fluent spoken and written english, igbo and french) 21-year old woman with certification from the Quantum Computer Institute in the Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel , MS Access and MS Powerpoint) and the Corel Suites, emerging the best in the Institute. Realising that infotech is my calling, I applied for the NIIT 2008 Scholarship, wrote the exam, and emerged as one of the best and was awareded the full scholarship.
