I am an academician currently serving Arba Minch University as Assistant Lecturer at Water Technology Faculty in department of Water and Environmental Engineering. I am very much proud to apply for your Masters program in one of Water and Environmental engineering fields.

The department, I graduated in, focuses on major courses Water and Environmental Engineering. In addition, I have taken other major and supportive courses as evidenced by the student copy. In all the courses I took, I was almost the highest scorer. I was the second of the class and graduated with a very great distinction cumulative grade point of 3.32 averages. Due to my academic achievement, I was recruited by the University for Water and Environmental Engineering department.

The Water and Environmental Engineering courses that I have studied for four years were versatile. However, Water Supply engineering is a department in which I believe, if I specialize, I can contribute much for my country. The root causes for developmental setbacks in many areas are lack of well designed and constructed public water supply and rural water supply (Spring development…etc)
, that is, a backbone for the development of a country. The ground source of such problem is lack of proper implementation and shortage of skilled manpower in the aforementioned sectors. Therefore, it needs augmenting the number of educated professionals in this field.
If I am given the study opportunity, I will happen to prove that I will discharge my academic commitments that the prospect demands to the best of my caliber and I will put my acquired knowledge in order to fill the existing gap in the development sector through various kinds of activities (like research activity, professional active participation in development associations, teaching in universities etc). I am sure I will use the knowledge and skills acquired from the proposed study for bringing about a remarkable change in the discipline
