Full Time Professor of Medical Morphology
As a private institution, Universidad de Monterrey was established in 1969, located in San Pedro Garza Garcia, NL, Mexico. The city’s index of human development is among the highest in Mexico, as well as the per capita income. The University offers 35 undergraduate and 15 graduate programs; it also offers 15 medical specialties. The institution is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and School (SACS), Mexican Counsel for Medical Education Commissioning (COMAEM), and the Board of Medical Examiners of Puerto Rico. The candidate must respond to the following characteristics:
Minimum requirements:
•Bachelor in Medical Science.
•Master´s degree in Morphology.
•Ph.D in Morphology or Immunology.
•Demonstrated experience in teaching Morphology.
•Professional experience in cell culture.
•Experience in molecular technology, morphology and immunology.
•Spanish and English.
Responsibilities:
•Teach morphology courses in bachelor and/or graduate level programs.
•Participate in or maintain a competitive research program.
•Coordinate laboratory researchers.
•Demonstrative success in fund-raising to attract resources for Morphology laboratory.
•Perform service duties as required by the department and school.
•Academic support for students.
Qualifications:
•Educational skills to communicate to students the knowledge and motivation for Morphology.
•Management skills.
•Proactive and teamwork style, based on challenges.
•Ability to relate with people.
•Excellent attitude and availability geared towards a continuous improvement based on personal motivation.
•Motivation to act as a team member in collaborative research.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
