We are looking for skillful and hard working candidates with high academic credentials/results for PhD student positions within the area of data communication, computer networks and distributed systems at SimTel Innovation, a joint research project between Simula and the telecom operator, Telenor. The PhD positions are targeted at the following research topics: * Peer-to-Peer (P2P), overlay networking * Multi-link access * Cognitive radio and dynamic spectrum access, with focus on higher layers Applications should be submitted by July 31st 2009. The applications must adhere to the guidelines described at http://simula.no/jobs/SimTel09 . We offer a competitive salary that reflects that we are hand-picking only top candidates. The successful candidate should not need additional funding. SimTel Innovation holds office at Simula Research Laboratory, a 15 minutes drive from the center of Oslo, Norway. The chosen PhD candidates will be enrolled in the 3-year PhD-program of the Simula School of Research and Innovation. The PhD degrees will be awarded by the University of Oslo. Let me introduce myself,I’m Jakhongir Bakhadirov from Uzbekistan ,I know now it’s very late to get scholarship , i don’t want to get full scholarship i had gardeuated bachelor degree in Tashkent University of Information technology in the field of Telecommunication networks ,then gained Scholarship for master degree in China under Chineese scholarship council(CSC) in the field of AD hoc Networks and P2P network,i got a very good experience in P2P netwrk system especcialy to create KAZAA with using Linux red hat 9 It was 3 years ago ,then i started work in ZTE corporation which are vendor in telecommunicatin industry as GSM BSS engineer started learn MW system STM(SDH) ,optimization whole umbrella network then changed to my specciality to core network to MSC side then started work with another vendors NOKIA siemens networks also got good knowledje in BTS and BSC system which is related in BSS part ,then went to Turkey to work in TURKCELL company ,last of my jobs i spent in Belarussia to supprt in 2G ang 3G system in LIFE operator which is belonged to TURKCELL company!
