  • Applications Deadline: Applications for 2019-20 are now closed
  • Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue Master degree programme.

  • Scholarship Award: Scholarship worth £2500-£5000 will be awarded.
  • Nationality: Students from Japan, Russia, South Korea, Turkey, Latin America, South-East Asia (ASEAN) and Taiwan are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Number of Scholarships: Number of merit scholarships are available.
  • Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility for the Scholarship: 

  • Eligible Countries: Students from Japan, Russia, South Korea, Turkey, Latin America, South-East Asia (ASEAN) and Taiwan are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Entrance Requirements: Students accepted onto one-year taught Master’s degrees at Birkbeck, starting in September 2018.

Application Procedure: 

How to Apply: once you have received an offer from Birkbeck, you must email us an essay of no more than 500 words. The essay should detail why you are the ideal candidate to receive the International Merit Scholarship. Recipients will be chosen based on a combination of academic merit and financial need.
