The College of Life and Environmental Sciences is delighted to offer the prestigious Future Leaders of Sustainability Masters Distinction Scholarship. These scholarships are awarded to study MSc Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture, MSc Sustainable Development or MSc Sustainable Development (Climate Change and Risk Management) in 2017.

Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing master’s programme within the College of Life and Environmental Sciences.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to study MSc Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture, MSc Sustainable Development or MSc Sustainable Development (Climate Change and Risk Management)

Scholarship Award: The Scholarship comprises an award of £10,000, plus a tuition fee waiver.

Number of Scholarships: There is only one scholarship available.

Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility: It is offered to residents from outside the UK/EU and will be awarded to an outstanding applicant who shows potential to be a global sustainability leader.

Nationality: Students from outside the UK/EU are eligible to apply.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: All applicants are considered individually on merit although University usually requires a 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.

English Language Requirement:
IELTS (Academic): Overall score 6.5. No less than 6.0 in any section.
TOEFL IBT: Overall score 90 with minimum scores of 21 for writing, 21 for listening, 22 for reading and 23 for speaking.
Pearson Test of English (Academic): 58 with no less than 55 in all communicative skills.

How to Apply: Students must submit the online application form. To apply for this scholarship, you must be holding an offer from the College of Life and Environmental Sciences on one of the following courses: MSc Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture, MSc Sustainable Development, or MSc Sustainable Development (Climate Change and Risk Management).
