Centre for Immune & Targeted Therapy - Gallipoli Research Foundation Top-up Scholarship: Top-up Scholarships for motivated individuals interested in a career in clinically oriented scientific research. Successful applicants will join research teams at the Gallipoli Research Centre, Greenslopes Private Hospital, Brisbane and be supervised by leading medical specialists and research scientists. CITT is a unique, collaborative research centre where basic and clinical research into the treatment of cancer is integrated into state of the art private sector cancer care. Potential PhD projects will focus on practical aspects of developing novel cell based immune therapies for the treatment of cancer in the clinical setting. PhD projects will suit candidates with interests in clinical applications of basic research and who aim to develop the skills and background to lead their own research team or be involved in commercialisation of medical research. Dear sir / Madame, i am Mesue Nzume a practicing medical student who just completed his masters medical sciences, i’m a cameroonian by age 25 year and work for a not-for-profit making agricultural cooperative union by name ”Chede cooperative union, And equally operates a medical health center, by name chede medical health foundation, with more enphasis on mental health outcomes. with head quarters in Cameroon Douala. Governed by law number 92/ 006 of 14 august 1992 and its decree number 92/ 455 / PM of november 1992. I have been making alot of research on health technics and the well being of our livelihood, but still have much to do, due to limited health facilities, and low financial assistance. The reason why i had to apply for this scholarship. Our cooperative also has a sub organ which deals in environmental and resource managment. If my request is granted then, our growing cooperative and foundation is going to benefit so much in terms of scientific research and a rise in life expectancy and most of our health developmental problems would be resduced.

Agriculture/ food production and rural village developement, Scientific and technical capacity building
Income generation and endemic poverty reduction
Food production, food security and improved livelihoods
