National Programme for Excellence (National Excellence Program – NEP) is offering Macedonia-Hungary student scholarship for Macedonian students to pursue master of Science in Information software technology at University of Debrecen in Hungary. Two full scholarships will be awarded for two years. Scholarship worth of HUF 5.2 million for two years of study and scholarship in the amount of HUF 450 000 per semester will be awarded to successful applicants. The deadline for applications is 22 July 2013.
Study Subject (s): Students must choose one of the following specializations: healthcare IT management, Information management systems, Information systems, Image processing and computer graphics, Artificial intelligence and Computer science.

Eligibility: The present tender invitation is for those students of Macedonian citizenship, who
- either finished their BSc studies or will gain a BSc degree until August 31, 2013 the latest,
- received admission to the Master studies of a Hungarian higher educational institution, starting in September 2013, in the scientific fields listed in point 41 (Successful admission is proved by the certified admission declaration2 of the institution),
- and can prove a B2 level English knowledge
Scholarship Open for International Students: Macedonian students can apply for these scholarships.
Scholarship Description: The aim of the National Excellence Program (NEP), which is being realized in the frames of Social Reform Operative Project (SROP), is to spur and support outstanding teaching and research activities so that they would be able to deliver results significantly from national and European economy point of views. The Macedonia-Hungary Student Scholarship Project supports those excellent students of Macedonian citizenship, who, in 2013 receive admission to the Master course in the English language of a Hungarian higher educational institution, in the scientific fields listed in the Guide. The aim of the Scholarship is to support the research activity and professional development of talented students, with the intention to help them submit high-standard, remarkable publications (thesis, diploma work, scientific paper or scientific article). The Office of Public Administration and Justice invites the tender with the support of the Hungarian State and the European Union and the co-finance of the European Social Fund.
Number of award (s): Two scholarships will be offered.
Duration of award (s): Scholarship is offered for two years.
What does it cover? The amount of subsidy: 5 200 000 HUF (975 000 HUF /3 months – is transferred as one amount in every 3 months). Total sum of call: 10 400 000 HUF. The present scholarship system provides an integrated scholarship, which allows Beneficiaries’ mobility, their participation in inland and oversees conferences and professional events as well as researcher exchanges and study trips. The beneficiary is allowed to cover from the subsidy only his own research-related costs and costs of living. The beneficiary receives the subsidy three-monthly and is not obliged to submit an account of the use of the amount. Further costs expected to be covered for the scholarship amount:
-Tuition fee: 450 000 HUF/semester. The tuition fee must be transferred in the first month of the semester (September/February) to the training institution (two installments are possible).
-Health Insurance: Beneficiary undertakes that he insures himself for the whole circle of health provisions under the scholarship period. The expected amount of the insurance is appr.: 35 000 HUF/ semester
-Visa costs: if relevant
Selection Criteria: The Advisory Board may decide on the following:
- Result of latest relevant qualification (completed studies)
- Language certificates
- Professional activity (eg: scholarships, study trips, conference lectures, publications, popular science activity, scientific lecture at a student conference or other scientific event for students, participating a scientific contest)
-Research Plan (e.g. the scientific significance, novelty of the topic and its link to the subject of economics, elaboration, professional grounding of the research topic and its expected utility.
Notification: Office of Public Administration and Justice will notify Applicant via the electronic system that his contract is printable. The contract should be returned to the Office of Public Administration and Justice by mail within 7 days, signed, provided with attachments, and in the stipulated number of copies. The applicant will receive notification via electronic system and in e-mail when the contract takes effect. Office of Public Administration and Justice will send him one copy of the contract by mail. The admission institution will also be notified electronically when the contract comes into effect, and then scheduled payment of the subsidy to the applicant will start.
How to Apply: Applications must be submitted electronically in the English language. The precondition for the application is that applicant registers himself in the informatics system.
