With due respect I would like to say that I was a Student of Dhaka Dental College, Bangladesh. I have completed my BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from Dhaka Dental College, in 2001. My name is Dr. Md. Aseer Jubair Khan Majlish. My father was a Government official and my mother is a school teacher. My father is a retired person now. So, the financial condition of our family is not that good. I am the only son of our familly. My IELTS brand score is 7. Our family had a long last wish that someday I shall be able to go abroad and have a higher degree.

I had long last desire that I shall be able to go to abroad for my future study.Would you please let me know that is it possible for me to get an graduate assistantship in your university. If it is possible I think I shall be able to get the financial support from my family.

My name Felix Malama and am currently working in the Civil service of the Republic of Zambia as a District Water Resource Manager responsible for Water resource management and development.

I graduated from Copperbelt University in 2002 with a Higher Diploma in Water Engineering.

My name is NJERU JAMES from Kenya. I did my Bsc. in Ornamental Science and Landscaping at JomoKenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Kenya, then joined a landscaping firm where i led various landcsaping projects in Nairobi city. In my work i realised wetlands have been seriously mismanaged and this has been assocociated with drastic changes occuring in Kenya’s rainfall patterns. This is how i developed great interest in watershed research. Watershed encrotchment by developers is already a well known problem in the Kenya and so my research attract alot of support in the country.
To be able to understand the genesis of the problem, i persued a Msc. in Landscape Planning and Conservation at JomoKenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology of which i am now doing the final exams for my academic year, which is ending on 27th April 2009. At the same time i am compiling my thesis which will be submitted shortly after the exam, and this will mark the beginning of my research project.

I’m Amare Shiberu from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I received my BSc degree of natural science from the science faculty of Addis Ababa University of Ethiopia-East Africa. I also graduated from the technology faculty of the same University with an MSc degree in Environmental Engineering in July, 2008. My thesis was on Assessment of non-point sources of pollution in the Legedady reservoir watershed, which is the drinking water source for Addis Ababa city, and was rated as ‘Very Good’. Currently, I’m working as an expert in the Ethiopian Cleaner Production Center of the national Ministry of Science and Technology.

The main tasks in the center being undertaken by me are promotion of sustainable industrial production focusing on: Providing industrial sectors with an effective Cleaner Production (CP) technical assistance to reduce waste at the source and enhance their productivity and competitiveness to the global market, Selection and Transfer of Environmentally Sound Technologies, Developing and Implementing the Environmental Management System and continually monitoring for improvement, and Provision of other Environmental Services such as EIA and undertaking CP assessment and environmental audits.

Hence, I feel a great pleasure to express my eager and burning desire and interest in getting a PhD assistantship on Environmental areas related to my MSc research title. Being backed by further training at a PhD level, I want to contribute more to the existing national and global environmental challenges as I have the necessary background to integrate the key elements of physical, chemical, biological, social and management practices into the study of watersheds.

Therefore, I sincerely and earnestly would like to request your kind consideration to find ways of getting full scholarship assistance for me so that I will be able to pursue my PhD study on Watershed Biogeochemistry.
