  1. Apply for Woodside’s Geophysics Scholarship Woodside will sponsor the successful applicant to complete an Honours year at the University of Adelaide’s Australian School of Petroleum, the premier oil and gas- industry focused school in Australia.

    Woodside’s $35,000 scholarship will cover the HECS fees for the Honours course in Petroleum Geology & Geophysics, relocation costs, paid vacation work and contribute to honours project and living expenses.

    On graduation Woodside will have first right of refusal on employment.

  2. Do the honours course anyway
    Geophysicists – especially those with a strong maths/physics background – are in short supply and high demand. The profession is a constantly changing, challenging one that offers the opportunity to work all over the world.

    Woodside Energy Ltd is actively seeking geophysics graduates with maths/physics backgrounds and maths/physics students prepared to study geophysics.

    Maths and Physics Students Graduates should have no problem finding a job in the industry – just make sure you call Woodside first!
