- Apply for Woodside’s Geophysics Scholarship Woodside will sponsor the successful applicant to complete an Honours year at the University of Adelaide’s Australian School of Petroleum, the premier oil and gas- industry focused school in Australia.
Woodside’s $35,000 scholarship will cover the HECS fees for the Honours course in Petroleum Geology & Geophysics, relocation costs, paid vacation work and contribute to honours project and living expenses.
On graduation Woodside will have first right of refusal on employment.

I studied applied physics during my undergraduate at university of Gondar and currently working as an assistant lecturer in Adama university.Now I am very eager to do my master’s study in geophysics.My home university, University of Adama is a recently established university. Currently it is expanding its research area according to the strategic plan of the government ofEthiopia like exploation of oil&gas petroluem.
The applied physics is one of the research areas where it is tring to be deeply involved andeffective and qualifedman power in geophysics

dear sir/madami am biaghere m. peter, a graduate of federal university of technology owerri, nigeria. i studied geophysics and graduated with a second class upper division.i would like to apply for a scholarship grant in order to pursue a master’s degree in petroleum geophysics in any of the university in australia or preferably norway as tuition fees in norwagian university are usually free most of the funds needed centers on accomodation and living expenses.having a the master’s degree in the propose course is not advisable in my country as the technology and expertise are really lacking back here in nigeria. having a first degree in geophysics was really challenging for me because much of the work and reading had to be done by me so as to be updated with the current trend and changes in the industries as regards geophysics in order to be at par with my mates internationally.the experience however, during my first degree has brought to the conclusion that pursuing a master’s degree in a developed nation is the only way i can really understand my course to the fullest and really impact in society and the economic growth in my country, continentally and globally.i would actually be grateful if my comment is replied and every detail as regard getting a scholarship grant is sent to me.

I am yonas from Eritrea. I have attained B.Sc in physics minoring in geology in university of asmara. I have worked as junior geophysicist in water resource department of my country. As Eritrea is a sub sahran country there is a series problem of water.
