Graduate Research Assistant, position number 0000GA11, UHM School of Pacific and Asian Studies, (Manoa), non-tenure track, NTE May-31-2009, .50 FTE, pending availability of funds, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of grant. To begin approximately September 2008. Duties: Develops and maintains website for the Center for Okinawan Studies (COS); prepares the newsletter layout for the COS; assists in the coordination of a major conference in March 2009; coordinates lecture series; special publication projects; perform general office duties and other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications: Full time, classified graduate student in good standing, Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with work in or related to Japanese Studies; experience in designing and maintaining websites and databases; a high level of proficiency in English (reading, writing, listening and speaking); experience with newsletter layout; experience with preparing databases; and attention to detail. Desirable qualifications: Experience in coordinating outreach projects and functional Japanese language proficiency. NOW WHAT I WANT IS THAT ,IF THERE CAN BE AN OPPORTUNITY OUT THERE WHERE BY I MAY GET TRAINING IN MY OWN HOME COUNTRY ,PROVIDED SOME ONE PAYS THE EXAMINATION FEES ,SUBSCRIPTION FEES ON MY BEHALF TO ACCA AND ALSO TO BUY STUDY TEXT,PASS CARDS FROM BPP LEARNING CENTRE PROVIDED ALL THE DETAILS REGARDING THE STUDENT REGISTRATION NUMBER HAS BEEN PROVIDED TO HIM ON REQUEST TO THE PROSPECTIVE SPONSOR.
I INTEND TO FURTHER MY SUDIES WITH ACCA STARTING FROM SUBJECTS F5 ONWARDS,SO THAT ONE DAY I SHOULD BE ONE OF THE CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN MY COUNTRY.
