2009-2010The Harvard University Edmond J. Safra Foundation Center for Ethics invites applications for Faculty Fellowships in Ethics for the academic year 2009-2010 (September through June).
The Center encourages teaching and research about ethical issues in the professions and public life. Its residential faculty fellowships support outstanding teachers and scholars who wish to develop their ability to address questions of moral choice in areas such as architecture, business, education, government, law, medicine, and public policy. Fellows participate in the Center’s weekly seminar and participate in a wide range of events and activities offered at the Center and the University at large. A significant part of their time is devoted to conducting their own research in ethics. Stipends are set each year and may vary with individual
circumstances.
Applicants should hold a PhD in philosophy, political theory, theology or related discipline, or an advanced professional degree, and should be no more than ten years from their first academic appointment.
