Haywood Doctoral Scholarship for UK, EU or International Applicants in UK, 2018

The University of Edinburgh is delighted to offer Haywood Doctoral Scholarship to an outstanding doctoral research candidate in History of Art. UK, EU or international applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

The University of Edinburgh, founded in 1582, is the sixth oldest university in the English-speaking world and one of Scotland’s ancient universities.

If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

Scholarship Description: 

  • Application Deadline: March 2, 2018
  • Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue Doctoral research programme.
  • Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded within the College of Arts and Law in History of Art.
  • Scholarship Award: The Haywood Scholarship provides for Home/EU tuition fees and a small maintenance grant. As an international student, you will receive a reduction in tuition fees equivalent to the Home/EU rate if successful.
  • Nationality: UK, EU or international applicants
  • Number of Scholarships: Numbers not given
  • Scholarship can be taken in the UK

These awards are open to UK, EU or international applicants pursuing full-time, campus-based doctoral research in History of Art commencing in September 2018. Applications for funding can only be considered alongside an application to study.

Applications are also open to current students with at least 12 months of study in normal registration remaining at the start of the award (excluding thesis awaited/writing-up).
