Eligibility:At the time of award, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
-Have applied and been accepted into an AUPHA full-member masters degree program for start in Fall of 2013 (not before August 1)
-Be an under-represented minority
-Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0) in undergraduate coursework
-Have US citizenship or permanent resident status

Scholarship Description: HCA is proud to sponsor the HCA Corris Boyd Scholars Program. This program was established in honor of a healthcare leader who dedicated his life to diversity and excellence in leadership – especially among people of color and women. The 2013-2015 HCA Corris Boyd Scholars Program offers two $40,000 scholarships to deserving students of color entering a graduate program in healthcare management. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements and submit all materials by the deadline to be considered for the scholarship. Awards will be announced in June 2013.
