The Henry James Williams Scholarship was established by bequest from Alfred, Alice and Robert Williams and is available to students undertake research in a field of study other than theology and music. The University usually awards one scholarship per year.

What does it cover? The following benefits apply:
-a living allowance of $30,000 per annum (pro-rate) paid fortnightly; and
-limited paid sick, maternity and parental leave, a relocation allowance and thesis allowance in line withAustralian Postgraduate Awards benefits.
Selection Criteria: Eligible candidates are selected on the basis of academic merit.
Notification: Successful candidates are advised of the outcome by email by the end of December.
