Job Description : The Government of Ontario has created the Hilary M. Weston Scholarship to commemorate The Honourable Hilary M. Weston’s term in office as Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.
Amount: $7,500
Deadline: December 15th, 2010
Who can receive these awards?
To be eligible you must:

  • Have demonstrated your interest in and commitment to mental health issues through community service or paid work;
  • Plan to register in a full-time graduate level social work program at a publiclyfunded Ontario university in the next academic year. If you are a student with a permanent disability, you must be taking a minimum of 40% of a full course load;
  • have demonstrated academic excellence;
  • Be an Ontario resident. You are considered an Ontario resident if you have lived in Ontario for at least twelve consecutive months   immediately preceding your registration in a social work program.

How are the recipients selected?
An independent Selection Committee will review each application and select the scholarship
recipients.
