-Continuing Student Scholarships: This scholarship is offered to continuing students, commencing their second or third year of study in the Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management degree at the Hotel School Sydney, and who are enrolling in a minimum of three units per session or undertaking a total of 6–8 units for the entire academic year. Applicants for The Hotel School Sydney Continuing Student Scholarship must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

The Hotel School Sydney is a unique educational partnership between Southern Cross University and Mulpha Australia, a major player in the hospitality industry. The Hotel School Sydney delivers a Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management and a Masters of International Tourism and Hotel Management. A limited number of scholarships are available each year for outstanding candidates who have been accepted as full time students into Year 1, 2 or 3 at The Hotel School Sydney commencing in 2015.

Selection Criteria: Selection is based on:
-Demonstrated academic achievement (new students) or academic achievement (continuing students) of a credit average GPA in their previous years of study in the Bachelor of Business in Hotel Management degree (completion of between 6 and 8 units)
-Ability to demonstrate commitment to their local region through their contribution to their school and/or broader community, supported by the comments of their school or nominee (new students);
-Applicants who can demonstrate leadership and involvement in their school and/or workplace (new students);
-Applicants who can demonstrate a history of leadership and involvement at THSS, or in their broader community; (continuing students) and
-Submit a short academic (researched) essay (maximum of 1000 words) on one of the topics listed.
