Eligibility:-The program aims at outstanding students within the last two years of their Master-equivalent or Engineering degree studies. Eligible areas include Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
-Selection of ICFO – CX Summer Fellows is based on merit and potential, measured in terms of academic records and personal achievements.
-Proactive attitudes, participation in community activities, and capacity for team-work are also taken into account.
-The standard fellowship duration is three months, although specific conditions may be negotiated during the selection process.
-The fellowships include a stipend of 2.500€ (gross), for a three-month full-time dedication.
-Eligible travel expenses are also covered

Scholarship Description: The Program aims at an early exposure to frontier science and research in Photonics, as well as at the early support of outstanding undergraduate students from institutions from all over the world to experience first-hand the excitement and challenges posed by research projects within the variety of ICFO´s research fields. While conducting a challenging research project, ICFO – CX Summer Fellows engage in a focused training program covering the basics and applications of the different research topics active at ICFO. The program aims at giving summer fellows a comprehensive overview of frontier research areas in Photonics and their corresponding applications.
