RMIT University (officially Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) is an Australian public university of technology and design based in Melbourne, Victoria.

RMIT accepts a range of English proficiency tests. Minimum English language requirements may differ between programs at the same study level.

Eligibility

In order to apply for the scholarship, the student must follow the given criteria:

  • be a citizen of the Philippines, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam
  • be applying from the Philippines, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam
  • enrol in an undergraduate or postgraduate program commencing in 2016
  • commence in the first year of the program
  • demonstrate excellence in current/previous qualification and
  • demonstrate leadership potential and ability to act as an ambassador for RMIT.

Nationality: Applicants from the Philippines, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: The mode of applying is online.
    Select an eligible program.
    Submit an application to study at RMIT along with a 300-500 word personal statement outlining your suitability for the scholarship.
    Receive an unconditional offer to study at RMIT by the closing date of the scholarship
  • Supporting Material: In addition to the application for the scholarship, the applicant must submit the following documents:
    Copy of your passport if available
    English translations of all documents
    Syllabus (if applying for credit)
    Resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
    Personal statement
    References from employers
    Letter from the scholarship provider

    Research proposal with two research supervisors names and list of prior research publications (for -Master by research and PhD program applications only)
