International Tuition Fee Scholarship (PhD or MPhil) in Mathematical Sciences

The University of Nottingham is offering an award of one full Tuition Fee Scholarship for a new international student registering on a research degree programme in the School of Mathematical Sciences at The University of Nottingham from September 2008.  The scholarship is for each year of a PhD or MPhil research programme, subject to satisfactory progress.  To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must:

• have an upper second honours degree in a mathematics or mathematics-related subject, or its equivalent
• be holding a conditional or unconditional offer of a place on a full-time research degree programme in the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Nottingham to commence studies from September 2008
• be classified as an ‘overseas’ student for fee purposes.
