Eligibility:-Must be able to work independently
-Be computer literate and comfortable using the internet, social media and entirely familiar with document, spreadsheet and presentation software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint or similar).
-Good communication skills especially on the phone and in email are also vital.
-Someone who is creative and organised.
-Should be capable of working with tight deadlines, have an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise them accordingly.
-Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Successful candidates will also be dealing with clients and journalists from many countries and cultures, therefore cultural awareness of business and people in Asia will be a bonus.
-For the Research communicator role previous scientific/research writing and editing experience is preferred. An interest in science and research is a must.
-For the Advertising/marketing coordinator role, a background in business, marketing or public relations will be helpful.

Internship Description: Intern should Work with internal department heads and international communications teams to promote Duties of Research Communicator willl be : Editing and writing press releases, Monitoring news coverage and creating reports for clients, Contacting and maintaining relationships with journalists and client research institutions across the world. Duties of Advertising/Marketing coordinator will be : Promoting ResearchSEA and its services internationally, Building and maintaining relationships with our clients, Coordinating advertising placement and sales, Developing marketing plans based on clients’ needs (you will be able to research, analyse findings and interpret trends). The successful candidate will be working with top research institutions in Asia, gain valuable experience in research communication and business development of a small but fast growing international business.Intern will get Salary as national minimum wage .Starting date is May 2012 onwards.Location is Cambridge.
