Eligibility: 1. You must be currently enrolled as a junior or senior at a public, private, or parochial school. Home school students are also eligible.
2. You must be able to commit to a minimum of twenty internship sessions at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from 10:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M., Monday-Friday, July 16-August 17, 2012.

Internship Description: The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s High School Internship Program offers high school seniors a unique opportunity to explore career paths, develop professional skills, and surround themselves with art. Students of diverse interests and backgrounds will benefit from a curriculum focused on job preparedness, including office decorum, dress, and public speaking; a work experience and mentor in a Museum department aligned with their specific interests or background; a chance to learn from professionals engaged in diverse career paths about the structure and management of a major non-profit organization; and gallery experiences that explore art from the contemporary teen perspective. Students will receive a stipend and, upon successful completion of the program, an internship certificate. Twenty positions are available
