The Metropolitan Museum of Art offers School-Year High School Internships. Any student who: is in grade 11 or 12 at a New York City Department of Education Title I high school when the internship begins. It provides $600 stipend in two parts: $300 upon successful completion of the first half of the program; $300 upon successful completion of the second half of the program. Application Available: July 1, 2015 and Deadline: September 16, 2015.
Stanford University is offering Earth Science Internship Program for High School Students. The program enables graduate students to serve as supervisors, prepares high schools students for college and serves to strengthen the connections between Stanford and local high schools. The high school internship program is an annual program and will be offered in 2014. The application deadline is March 22, 2015.
The High School Summer Internship Program provides internship for current high school juniors and seniors at Magee-Women Research Institute. The program is organized high school students to participate in basic or clinical research projects with the goal of promoting interest in biomedical research as a potential career. The AspirnautTM Summer Research Internship is a hands-on and mentored laboratory experience for high school students interested in a career in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM). The Draper Laboratory High School Summer Internship program is accepting applications from high school students that are interested in participating in a 6-8 week paid summer research internship. The internship provides an opportunity for students to work with mentor scientists and administrators toward the execution of a research project while obtaining professional experience in support of academic preparation for a career in engineering or related science. The Cardiothoracic Surgical Skills and Education Center Stanford Summer Internship is designed to educate high school and pre-medical students considering careers in science, medicine, and public health. This program is open to all students worldwide. There is a fee to apply and a $5,800 fee to participate. The application deadline is February 13, 2015.
Applications are invited for Opera House Arts internships for high school students. Internships can pay stipends of up to $500 for high school students and $1,000 for college students depending on the length of the internship. The deadline for 2015 summer internships is April 1, 2015.
