Is this paid internship? The total cost of the program is $3300 plus flights, visa ($70), most meals, transport and spending money. The program fee includes your internship placement, all accommodation, mentoring, entrepreneurship and business mentoring, language classes, networking and weekend trips. You will be entitled to the NCP funding of $3000 to use towards your program cost if you are an Australian Citizen and have not received BUILD funding this year.
Please note, you will be covered by UTS travel insurance for the program, including 3 days before the program and 3 days after the program.
Internship Description: The International Business and Entrepreneurship Internships are offered in partnership with International Internships, a specialist internship company based in Jakarta from 9 January – 23 February 2019.
The program provides an opportunity to gain subject credit by undertaking a 6-week comprehensive internship in Jakarta, Indonesia – one of the fastest growing capital cities in Southeast Asia. This program will not only provide you with valuable international work experience but will also give you the chance to build the foundations of an exciting and dynamic career in Asia.

How to Apply: Applications are to be submitted by 9am, Friday 21st September 2018 to businessinternships-at-uts.edu.au, subject “Jakarta Internship application” in 1 (ONE) PDF attachment and MUST include the following (failure to meet ALL the requirements will exclude you from consideration):
- Resume. In addition, although not a requirement, please advise if you speak Indonesian and any other languages. Also provide information on any overseas travel experience
- Cover letter. This may be presented to organisations when considering your placement, include a description of what you can bring to an organisation.
- Statement of intent explaining the following:
