Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JCCI) Singapore Foundation Scholarships 2010-11
Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JCCI) Singapore Foundation Scholarships 2010-11: The Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JCCI) Singapore Foundation, in cooperation with Waseda University in Japan, set up a one-year scholarship program for university undergraduates to study culture, history, society, politics, economics, geography, arts, literature and so forth of Japan and other parts of Asia. The scholarship program was established in 1995 to commemorate Singapore’s 30th Year of National Independence and the 5th Anniversary of JCCI Singapore Foundation.
The Foundation hopes to provide young Singaporeans an opportunity to study in Japan through this program. Also, it wishes to promote further exchanges and cooperation between Singapore and Japan. The successful candidate is thus expected to play the role of a diplomat with the task of strengthening the bilateral relations.
CONDITIONS & CRITERIA
• All applicants must be Singapore citizens, below the age of 28 (as at 1st January 2010).
• Applicant must be a university undergraduate or graduate from an Arts and Social Sciences, Business or Law background.
• Applicants with some knowledge of basic Japanese language will be preferred.
• Applicant must have genuine interest in Japan.
• He/ She must be physically healthy.
All Applications must be submitted by the closing date: 11 September 2009

I finished my High School in the year 2006 with a mean score of B in Kenya Certificate Of Secondary Education(KCPE) with which i qualified for a direct enry to Kenyan Universities.But because a large number of students have been qualifying,the cut off point was raised which left me out.I have hard that passion to persue my dreams by first having a university degree.I have tried to raise money for parallel programme but invain because somebody whom i depended on(dad) just died a year after i finished my High schooling.So i have been looking for any organisation or an individual for undergraduate scholashipThanks

Am in my second year at university, Makerere University, opffering a bachelor of science degree in education, mathematics major and economics minor. I am a man aged 39 years old. I am living in Kibaha town in Coast region and working in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. I am married with three children.
I am working with SWISSAID Tanzania, an NGO. My position in the ogrnanization is Credit Program Officer.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Certified Accountancy from the Institute of Development Management in Mzumbe Morogoro Tanzania obtained in 1998.
I have secured admission from Mzumbe University in Morogoro Tanzania to persue gaduate studies; Msc. in Accounting and Finance. The program starts on 19th October 2009.
Up to this time I have no sources of funding to finance my studies.
After having seen your details I believe that you are a resource person to the way out of my challenging situation.
