JBA Trust and British Hydrological Society Studentship Award Scheme in UK, 2014

JBA Trust and the British Hydrological Society is inviting applications for studentship award scheme. An honours degree in a relevant subject (including civil engineering, geography, environmental science, ecology, statistics, physics or mathematics) is required, with at least upper second class honours. A small number of studentship bursaries of around £1500 towards the cost of a masters degree (MSc/MRes only) tuition fees at a UK Higher Education Institution. The application deadline is 15 August 2014.

Eligibility: -The University to which the application is made, and to which the award would relate, must be a UK Higher Education Institution.
-Applicants must be British nationals who would have previously been eligible for Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) support.
-An honours degree in a relevant subject (including civil engineering, geography, environmental science, ecology, statistics, physics or mathematics) is required, with at least upper second class honours.

Number of award(s): Short-listed entries, numbering 10% of the total submission or six applications (whichever the smaller), will be reviewed by at least one academic and one practising panel member.

Selection criteria: BHS will review applications, attaching equal weight to academic performance, references, and personal statements, and rank candidates accordingly.

The decision of BHS in the selection of students under this scheme is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No feedback on your application is possible.
