Job Description : (A) 1 (one) JRF for DBT funded project titled “Isolation and screening of potential microbial inoculants from rhizosphere of a medicinally important weed, Cassia occidentalis”.
PI: Dr Shilpi Sharma, Co-PI: Prof A. K. Srivastava
Minimum Qualification: B.Tech. / M.Sc. Ist Class or equivalent in Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Botany or equivalent
Desirable: Research experience with techniques in microbiology
Last date for application: 20th January 2010
Fellowship: Rs.12000 PM + HRA
Project Duration: 3 years
(B) 2 (two) SRFs for ICMR funded project titled “Hairy root cultivation for mass scale production of Shikimic acid (Raw material for the drug for Avian Flu)”.
PI: Prof A. K. Srivastava, Co-PI: Dr. Shilpi Sharma.
Minimum Qualification: B.Tech / M.Sc Ist Class or equivalent with two years of research experience or / M.Tech., in Biotechnology / Biochemical Engineering or equivalent
Desirable: Research experience in Plant Cell Technology / Biochemical Engineering
Last date for application: 31st January 2010
Fellowship: Rs.14000 PM + HRA
Project Duration: 2 years
