JRF Position-INSTITUTE OF FOREST GENETICS AND TREE BREEDING: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up temporary positions of Junior Research Fellows to work on the projects detailed below:

Emoluments: Rs.8000/-p.m

Educational Qualifications

JRF 2- M.Sc. Zoology with specialization inEntomology/ M.Sc. Agri.Entomology.Desirable: Prior researchExperience in the field ofEntomology.JRF 1- M.Sc Degree inBotany/ M.Sc. Agri. PlantPathology.Desirable: Prior researchexperience in the field ofPlant Pathology/MycologyInterest in undertakingextensive field surveys forinsects and plant pathogens and working knowledge oncomputer statistical analysis are desirable for the above positions.

Duration: 3 Years 2007-2010

Application form can be downloaded from the website www.ifgtb.res.in alongwith other details. Maximum age limit is 28 years. Upper age limit is as on 1.7.2008 with relaxation upto a maximum of 5 and 3 years in case of SC/St and OBC respectively. The short listed candidate will be called for an interview at Coimbatore. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
