Positions available

1. Applications are invited for the post of JRF in the project entitled “Peptidyl Prolyl Cis-Trans Isomerases: Role in storage Protein Deposition in Wheat and Relevance to industry”. The project is valid for a period of two years (2009-2011).

JRF @Rs. 12000/-p.m. +HRA

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science with good academic records (Ist division).

Desirable Qualification: Strong desire to work on plant and microbial system with good knowledge of routine molecular biology techniques including cloning and expression analysis. Candidates having relevant experience in the area will be preferred.

2. Applications are also invited for the post of Research Associate (RA) in the project entitled “Functional Characterization of a calcium sensing Salt Overly Sensitive (SOS3) gene from Brassica juncea”. The project is valid for a period of three years (2009-2012).

RA @Rs. 16000/-p.m. +HRA

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Science with good academic records.

Desirable Qualification: Strong desire to work on plant and microbial system with good knowledge of routine molecular biology techniques including cloning and expression analysis. Candidates having relevant experience in the area will be preferred.
