FELLOWSHIP AWARD (JRF/SRF) 2009

In Pursuance of the Policy Framework for promotion of higher education & research in the area disability rehabilitation by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Institute invites applications to award fellowship to the candidates desiring to undertake research project in our priority areas, as part of their higher studies.
Institute has plenty of clinical material, Indoor/outdoor facilities, Surgical facilities, Arthroscopy, Gait Laboratory, Uro-dynamic, ANSYS, Labs of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics and rich Library with faculty with long experience in their subject.

Eligibility – Degree in Medicine/ Engineering or PG in Rehab/ Social Science/Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics

The priority area of research shall be.

  1. Developing cost effective technology in rehabilitation services(Medical/Surgical/therapy/socio-economics)
  2. I.T base rehabilitation/ Tele-rehabilitation
  3. Disability Bio-informatics
  4. Community oriented services/technology for rehabilitation.
  5. Design and Development technology in the area of Prosthetics/ Orthotics (CAD/CAM).
  6. Cost effective technology to reach to the un-reached.

The candidate selected will have to submit project with in three months and seek their guide/co-guide by themselves.
Candidates already secured/ seeking admission to PG/ Doctoral program are eligible to apply.
