Applications are invited for the one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position, purely temporary, in the BRNS Project entitled ‘Geochronological studies on uranium mineralization and host granitoids in parts of South India using 233U/236U Isotope tracer solution’.
1. Essential qualification: M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology/Marine Geology with minimum 55% marks. Preference will be given to CSIR–UGC NET/GATE qualified candidates.
2. Desirable: Experience in the field of Petrology/Geochemistry/Isotope geochemistry
3. Emoluments: Rs 12,000 pm
The fellowship is for three years or termination of the project, whichever is earlier. Application on plain paper along with complete bio-data should reach: Prof. S. Balakrishnan, Department of Earth Sciences, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry 605 014 on or before 22 July 2009.
