Applications are invited for the following, purely temporary posts in a DST sponsored project on Generativity in cognitive networks.

Name of the post 1: Junior Research Fellow;
Name of the post 2: Research Associate
Salary: post 1:- Rs 12,000 per month + HRA as per UGC norms
post 2:- Rs.16,000 per month + HRA as per UGC norms
Essential Qualification: post1: M.Sc. in Physics / Mathematics / Cognitive Science / Computer Science / Allied disciplines;
Post2: M.Sc. as above with Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines;
Interest in learning biology.

Desirable qualifications: (i) UGC-NET / M.Phil / Ph.D. (ii) prior experience in working in the
area of cognitive science or brain function modeling.

Job Description: This project is a part of the DST National Initiative in Cognitive Science. The study that we propose to pursue at the University of Hyderabad will involve mathematical modeling of the brain functions and their simulation on computer.

The project duration is three years. The selected candidates will be appointed on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year or till their services are required by the Project Director, whichever is the earliest.
