Kuwait Program at Sciences Po and Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) are offering KSP Excellence Scholarship to graduate students admitted to Sciences Po and enrolled in master’s programs. Scholarships are open for all nationalities. Scholarships are awarded to study any one of PSIA’s two-year master programs in Middle Eastern Studies or PSIA’s one-year Master in Advanced Global Studies.Multiple scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis in 2016-2017. The application deadline for the KSP Excellence Scholarship is January 10, 2016.

Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded to study any one of PSIA’s two-year master programs in Middle Eastern Studies or PSIA’s one-year Master in Advanced Global Studies.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing masters programme at Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po (PSIA).

Eligibility:-Students applying to a dual degree program are not eligible.
KSP Excellence Scholarship for the Study of the Arab World and Gulf Region:-Candidates of all nationalities may apply.
-Applicants must have already submitted a full application to the Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po (PSIA) for the 2016 intake through the Sciences Po Admissions Portal (including all supporting documents and references), and must have applied to one of the following programs:
Any one of PSIA’s two-year master programs with the commitment to enrol on the Concentration in Middle Eastern Studies, PSIA’s two-year Master in International Energy with any concentration or PSIA’s one-year Master in Advanced Global Studies with the commitment to enrol on the Concentration in Middle Eastern Studies
KSP Excellence Scholarship for Arab Students: -Nationals from Arab countries, including the Gulf Region, may apply.
-Applicants must have already submitted a full application to the Paris School of International Affairs of Sciences Po (PSIA) for the 2016 intake through the Sciences Po Admissions Portal (including all supporting documents and references), and must have applied to one of the following programs:
Any one of PSIA’s two-year master programs or PSIA’s one-year Master in Advanced Global Studies
KSP Excellence Scholarship for Least Developed Countries:-Nationals from Least Developed Countries may apply: Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Kiribati, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Timor-Leste, Togo, Tuvalu, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Vanuatu, Yemen, Zambia.
-Applicants must have completed their undergraduate studies in one of the above-mentioned Least Developed Countries.
-Applicants must have already submitted a full application to Sciences Po for the 2016 intake through the Sciences Po Admissions Portal (including all supporting documents and references). Students applying to any one of Sciences Po’s master programs are eligible (oneyear master programs as well as two-year master programs).

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Candidates of all nationalities are eligible for this KSP Excellence scholarship.

Scholarship Description: The KSP Excellence Scholarship supports outstanding students admitted to Sciences Po and enrolled on a program at the master level. Multiple scholarships will be awarded to the best candidates on a competitive basis. Students may apply to one of the three following categories:
-KSP Excellence Scholarship for the Study of the Arab World and Gulf Region: open to candidates of all nationalities and dedicated to students admitted at PSIA who have chosen to focus on the study of the Arab World and Gulf Region. Please see the call for applications.
-KSP Excellence Scholarship for Arab Students: open to nationals from Arab countries and dedicated to students admitted at PSIA in any master program. Please see the call for applications.
-KSP Excellence Scholarship for Least Developed Countries: open to nationals from Least Developed Countries and dedicated to students admitted at Sciences Po in any master program. Please see the call for applications.

Number of award(s): Multiple KSP scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis in 2016-2017.

Duration of award(s): The KSP Excellence Scholarship is offered for the entire length of study at PSIA on condition of sufficient academic performance (top 50% of the class). Students who do not meet this requirement will have their scholarship withdrawn.

What does it covers? 
Two-year master programs: KSP Excellence Scholarship for the Study of the Arab World and Gulf Region and KSP Excellence Scholarship for Arab Students each recipient is awarded up to 10 000 Euros per year (up to 20 000 Euros for two years of study). In principle, the scholarship is offered for both years of study. Students enrolled on this program must show sufficient academic performance over the course of the first year or their scholarship will be withdrawn in the second year. For KSP Excellence Scholarship for Least Developed Countries each recipient is awarded full tuition each year.
One-year master programs: KSP Excellence Scholarship for the Study of the Arab World and Gulf Region and KSP Excellence Scholarship for Arab Students each recipient is awarded up to 19 000 Euros for one year of study. In principle, the scholarship is offered for one year. Students enrolled on this program must show sufficient academic performance during the first semester or their scholarship will be withdrawn in the second semester. For KSP Excellence Scholarship for Least Developed Countries each recipient is awarded full tuition each year.

Selection Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to the best candidates based on their academic record and their project at Sciences Po.

Notification: Results will be announced around mid-April 2016.

How to Apply: To apply, please send the following materials by email with ‘KSP Excellence Scholarship Application 2016’ in the subject line. For all applicants: CV in English Cover letter in English of 1000 words (indicating which program at PSIA you are applying for) addressed to the members of the joint selection committee Copy of passport Completed and signed release form (see page 3) For applicants coming from Sciences Po’s Undergraduate College only, in addition to the two above-mentioned items (CV and cover letter), please also provide: Copy of the official academic transcripts for the entire length of your time in higher education (including periods spent abroad on exchange programs). Two letters of reference from professors, written in English. To ensure confidentiality, these letters should be sent by the professors directly to [email protected] A joint selection committee will review all eligible scholarship applications.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The deadline to apply to the KSP Excellence Scholarship is January 10, 2016. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. The 2016 Sciences Po admissions campaign begins in October 2015.
