Eligibility:
- You show exceptional and sustained involvement in social or humanitarian, artistic, environmental, athletic, or scientific activities (contributing to research excellence whatever the field) in Quebec, other Canadian provinces, or another country
- You are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or foreign student
- You are registered for full-time study for the two semesters in which the scholarships will be awarded (fall 2012 and winter 2013)

Scholarship Description: Leadership and Sustainable Development Scholarship Program was created by Université Laval for the purpose of investing in talent and making an active contribution to shape tomorrow’s leaders. Please take a look at the students who received scholarships for 2011–2012 as part of the Leadership and Sustainable Development Scholarship Program.
The scholarship payment schedule is as follows:
- Undergraduate: $2,000 per year (up to 3 or 4 years, depending on program length)
- Master’s: $5,000 per year (up to 2 years)
- Doctoral: $10,000 per year (up to 3 years) Scholarships are renewable annually for the official duration of the study program, contingent on proof of continuing leadership and ongoing full-time study in the program for which the scholarship was granted.
- These awards can be combined with all other scholarship programs.
