Chinese applicants are invited to apply for Li Xiaoming Master Scholarship funded by Warwick Graduate School. The scholarship is awarded in the memory of Li Xiaoming a much-missed student.

The aim of the scholarship is to strengthen the bond between UK and China.

The University of Warwick is a plate glass research university in Coventry, England. It was founded to expand access to higher education. The university initially admitted a small intake of graduate students in 1964.

Scholarship Description:

  • Application deadline: March 15, 2018
  • Course Level: The scholarship is available to pursue a master degree.
  • Study Subject: The scholarship is awarded in the fields offered by the university.
  • Scholarship Award: The Scholarship for the 2018/2019 academic year is worth up to £20,000 each (payment of up to £20,000 towards tuition fees).
  • Nationality: Chinese applicants can apply for the scholarship.
  • Number of Scholarships: Number of scholarship is not given.
  • Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

  • Eligible Countries: China
  • Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have an overall undergraduate GPA score of at least 85%. and applying for a taught masters course starting October 2018. Li Xiaoming dedicated his life to serving his country.
  • English Language Requirements: Applicants must have sufficient knowledge of the language of instruction of the host university.

Master Scholarship

Application Procedure:

Before applying for the scholarship, candidates must have already applied to the University of Warwick and have an offer of a place on a one year taught Masters at the University. Once you have your offer (an offer with conditions is acceptable) you can apply for the scholarship.

 How to Apply:

Applicants will need your 7-digit Warwick ID number, details of your offer from Warwick and details of your previous study/work experience. You will also need to complete a maximum 500-word essay explaining ‘how your proposed study at Warwick and consequent future career will contribute to society’.

Applicants can write a maximum of 500 words (do not exceed). It must be written in English and the quality of grammar and spelling will be taken into consideration. The title of the essay is ‘How I intend to use my experience at Warwick and consequent future career to contribute to my society’. Please make reference to any previous experiences and education that have shaped your thinking as well as telling us about what you hope to achieve in the future, explain why it is that your proposed study at Warwick can help you to realise your goals.
