NOTES FOR APPLICANTS
Scholarship applicants must apply for a scholarship at the same time as, or subsequent to, applying
for one of the LSBF Master’s degrees. All information provided in the application form will be
considered when applying for the Emerging Markets Scholarship Scheme (EMS).
A successful scholarship applicant would be:
A national of one of the emerging markets;
A graduate with proven academic skills;
Committed to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country he/she is coming from
through implementing the new skills and knowledge acquired in the UK;
Established in a career, with a track record of excellence and achievement, and the prospect of
becoming a leader in his/her chosen field;
Have good English Language skills, as most UK Higher Education Institutions require a minimum
IELTS of 6.5 for admission onto Postgraduate courses.
Have sufficient funds to meet your tuition fees and living expenses, after taking account of the
possible award of an Emerging Markets Scholarship.
All LSBF Scholarships are awarded only in the form of a reduction in tuition fees payable. The
scholarship awards will be deducted from tuition fees payable to the LSBF.
