The European School of Molecular Medicine (SEMM) is inviting applications for Marie Curie international mobility fellowships. The fellowships are offered for postdoctoral positions in the contest of the Structured International Post Doc Program (SIPOD). The fellowship is open to the non-Italian citizens of any nationality (incoming) and also to the Italian citizens’ resident in another European country (incoming) and Italian citizens with three years’ research experience in a third country (Reintegration). 7th April 2013 is the application deadline.
Study Subject(s): Research areas are multidisciplinary and include: animal models, biochemistry, cell biology, epigenetic, genome stability, genomics, molecular genetics, structural biology, molecular oncology, computational biology, stem cells.
Course Level: The fellowship is available for postdoctoral position.

Scholarship can be taken at: Italy
-Candidates must hold a Doctorate degree awarded no more than five years prior to the call deadline. Exceptions are made for: women with children, one additional year per child can be claimed, up to a maximum of three years or Other documented career breaks.
-Candidates expecting to be awarded with the degree within 6 months after the deadline can also apply.
-Publication record: candidates must have at least one publication as first author (either accepted, in press or published) at the time of the application.
-Candidates must provide at least two letters of references.
Besides the eligibility criteria, candidates need to meet the following additional requirements, according to the fellowship scheme they apply:
-Candidates must be Italian citizens with three years’ research experience in a third country (i.e. non-EU or associated countries). Candidates may have already returned to Italy, but no more than 12 months prior to the call deadline. The candidates must be:
a) NON-Italian citizens of any nationality and not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call deadline.
b) Italian citizens resident in another European country. Candidates may have already returned to Italy, but no more than 12 months prior to the call deadline.
