Haramaya University in collaboration with the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) would like to support 10 PhD dissertation research in the area of agricultural sciences on a competitive basis as per the norm of the University.
Eligible candidates who fulfil the criteria depicted hereunder can submit their application along with dissertation research concept note to the School of Graduate Studies.
Eligibility
- A student is a registered PhD student at Haramaya University
- A student is enrolled in the agricultural field of study
- A student does not have financial support for dissertation research
- A student must be course completed
- Eligible applicants shall submit their concept note following the guideline described below:
- Should be based on HU’s thematic research (Crop Production and Management; Livestock Performance and Product
- Quality Improvement; Natural Resource Utilization and Management, Socioeconomics and Rural Development) and research mandate areas
- Should be relevant as scientific research at PhD level
- Should be demand-driven and problem-solving
