COP15 Climate Scholarship
Denmark offers a number of full scholarships within studies of climate change.
Study climate change in Denmark – apply for a COP15 Climate Scholarship
Climate change is one of the major challenges that our world faces today. In December 2009, Denmark will host the United Nations Climate Change Summit. To emphasise the importance of sustainable climate solutions, the Danish government is now launching the ‘COP15 Climate Scholarship’ for highly qualified students. The scholarships, which cover both tuition fees and living expenses, are made available for a range of excellent two-years Master’s programmes, including MSc programmes in wind energy, environmental engineering or sustainable energy planning.
Background
In line with the overall aim of securing a climate friendly Climate Conference, the Danish Government has decided not to give any gifts or conference-kits for COP15 participants. The resources saved is instead used to create the ‘COP15 Climate Scholarship’, which gives a number of international students the opportunity to pursue a masters degree within climate change studies at a university in Denmark.
How to apply
Applications are made directly to the university. When you apply for a masters programme, you should indicate your interest in applying for the COP15 Climate Scholarship. The following master programmes are available under the scholarship programme.
Please note the deadline at the beginning of March 2009.

Can I have access to Heritage Management at a Masters level? Because I have a special interest with this field. On top of that my country, Ethiopia, being endowed with so many heritages, has not even a single professional in Heritage Management. I have been an active participant in climate change activities including participation in climate negotiations from 1997. I attended several SB meetings dealing with pre-Kyoto protocol negotiations, attended COP 3, 6, 6 part II, 10 and 12. Am looking forward to attending COP 15.
At the national level, I am an active member of the National climate change activities coordinating committee where am a member of the technical working group on climate change mitigation and greenhouse gas inventories.

they are mobile depending on weather condition .the community of pastoralist is more of illiterate
.therefore the regional government (Oromia) is trying the best (endeavour)to reduce poverty and
illiteracy .In general the Ethiopian Federal Government is working hard to eliminate poverty from
the country in which Agricaltural lead industralization is feasible to over 85% population is in
rural area .because of this it is very essential to increase number of educated person to minimize
the problemes mentioned above in the country .therefore ,I am very eager (very keen) to upgrade my
education to master in veterinary medicine or related field to help the poor society (pastoralist
),my poor family and my self .hence ,I am politely requesting your help to hand me (assist)in
