I have my first degree in Theology form the university of Malawi Central Africa. I, however have been working as a development worker for some years. I have attended courses in Disaster Risk Reduction in India and University of Capetown ,South Africa.

Malawi has a number of disaster risks that are having negative impacts on the communities. These range from health,social, economic,environmental and many more.

My desire is to get a Masters Degree in the field of DRR so that I will be able to help the government in addressing some of the challenges. My challenge is to get a scholarship. I need your help.

After finishing my M.Sc in Chemisry I’ve been working in an english medium School as an assistant teacher for 4 years. I’m also the Demonstrator of the chemisty lab. For the sake of giving my
academic background, I was graduated from Bahirdar
university, one of Ethiopian university, by Bachelor
of education degree in Biology (major) and chemistry
(minor). I made correspondence with ITC institution
(Netherlands) and I have found admission letter in the
course of Natural resource management in 20005. For
this reason, I had applied to Netherlands fellowship
programme and World Bank Graduate Scholar ship
programme by fulfilling every criterion for two years
(20006&2007G. C) but they could not
release funds for me by saying that the competition
was high ( severe) that we could not give you priority
in this year. Again by giving hope for the coming
(third) year.
now i seek to get funds to pusue my second degree in
my country universities or else if you give me promise
to release funds , i can get admission letter.

I am an Ethiopian having Bsc with CGPA of 3.50. Currently I am in Ministry of Capacity Building as public relation. Yet I want to upgrade my educational level to second degree (msc) related to my field of study Because I strongly want to play a role in solving the problem of information for publics. But I could not upgrade my qualification to Bsc due to shortage of money. Because I used my resources exhaustively being a family man snatching from the mouths’ of my kids during my first degrees study. Therefore, I couldn’t stretch my hands farther to help myself. Please would you help me in realizing my dreams?
