Dear support Team,

Greetings. I wish to study masters in inclusive/special needs education. I cannot afford to pay for the course, I therefore, request for a full-scholarship.

I am a Ugandan and a Person with physical disability. Like many other Person with physical disability(PWD’s) in Uganda, went through a lot of hardship to get a degree and other education qualifications or skills. Further, I am struggling and persisting to be accepted in Uganda
communities where I live through barriers like negative attitude and discrimination although I have abilities and rights just like other ‘normal’ people.

I have the following education qualifications: Post Graduate Diploma in Special Needs Education (PGDSNE) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance (BAF) both
from Kyambogo University ; a Uganda Diploma in Business Studies (U.D.B.S.) from Makerere University Business School; a Diploma in Business Administration and Management(D.B.A.M.); U.A.C.E; U.C.E. I participated in a Multi-regional International Visitors Program “Community Service and NGOs” U.S.A., sponsored by the United States
Department of State, and contributed to a research Project on Access to water and sanitation facilities for persons with disabilities (PWD’s) organized by Water, Engineering Center (WEDC) Loughborough University U.K. I designed and initiated the construction of the Hidden Talents School,(Mukono-Uganda) a model school for INCLUSION of persons with disabilities in education, that addresses PWD-learner’s needs within the mainstream school for all children.

I am from Ethiopia, having diploma in General Agriculture and Bachelor degree in Horticulture and have a CGPA of 3.50. I have served for nine years as office managers and experts in different organizations. I really happy to work with remote agricultural sectors by coordinating on my management and agricultural educational back ground. But here it is very difficult to make further in education for people like me from poor family members.
