IMD SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION- MBA SCHOLARSHIP
The IMD Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce a new IMD MBA scholarship that will be awarded to support an individual coming from an emerging country and who works either as a social entrepreneur or for an NGO. The aim of the scholarship is to increase the class diversity and learning experience and to support a participant who otherwise would not be able to attend the IMD MBA program.
Who can qualify
Qualified candidates who have a passion to make a contribution to society through socially responsible leadership
- Currently working as a social entrepreneur or for an NGO in your home country or region
- 4-10 years work experience
- Making a significant contribution to your local environment, country or society in general
- Have leadership characteristics and the ability to have an impact in the class
- Have financial need such that you could not otherwise afford to attend IMD
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Demonstrate a passion and committment for socially responsible leadership both in your current role and to go back to your home country or region after the IMD MBA program

Hi all,
I am a graduate from an East African developing country, I recently (22 May) got a unconditional offer to a UK university for an MA. This was way beyond most deadlines for scholarship applications and funding opportunities.
From the look of things, it going to be a little bit tricky raising the tuition fees and accommodation given the short time before the start date of the course i.e. October 2009.
Are there any opportunities out there and any funding/ scholarship body that can still fund my MA studies?

dear sir/madam,
i am Jigme Tenzin from bhutan. i am working as an agriculture extension officer, mainly concerned with production, farm machanisation and commercialisation. Bhutan is an emerging country- economically growing, socially consistant, traditionally and culturally sound. more than 70% of our population is engaged in agriculture farming, mostly by default are organic farmers. we follow the subsistance type as well as the commercial farming to sustain ourself and earn income through exports. Currently, the main constranint is with the marketing of agriculture produce. we cannot market much despite the production could be increased at any level. there are quite a low number of professionals to do research, make linkages and develop marketing strategy to boost the agriculture production. farmers, therefore strict to the production just to meet the domestic need. perhaps, many of the farmers are discouraged due to poor marketing.
therefore, i would like to persue master in agriculture business, really to solve some of these existing problems. it would be really grateful if any universities and organisations could kindly support me.

Now I am very interested to continue my further education (master) if I can get any scholarship that relates to my field. .Even thou I have high interest to continue my further education I have not the financial strength to do so that. Even it is very difficult in our country to have good daily life. So I am very happy if you provide me with a scholarship any where. It may be in the fields of business administration, public administration, international trade, policy analysis and designing, macro economics and others relating field.
