McDonald Scholarships for Southern California High School Seniors
Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarship Program Awarding $304,000 in Scholarships to Southern California High School Seniors During Tough Economic Times
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California (RMHCSC), in partnership with the McDonald’s Operators’ Association of Southern California (MOASC), will continue its commitment to education by awarding $304,000 in scholarships through four programs to eligible graduating high school seniors who reside and attend school in Southern California’s five-county area and demonstrate academic achievement, leadership skills and community involvement.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) scholarship program includes the following four programs: RMHC/ African American Future Achievers, RMHC/Asian Pacific American Students Increasing Awareness (ASIA), RMHC/ Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources (HACER), and RMHC/ Scholars. The RMHC scholarship programs are awarding $304,000 in scholarships at $2,000 each to eligible students. The money awarded may be applied toward tuition, fees, room and board and/or other approved expenses. The application deadline is Friday, March 13, 2009 for all four scholarship programs. Scholarship recipients are selected by advisory boards consisting of educators, and community and civic leaders.
“More so than ever, our youth needs our support to complete their education during these tough economic times,” said Ti Chang, local McDonald’s owner/operator and president of MOASC. “McDonald’s is committed to supporting our local high school seniors as they reach their college and career goals and become the future leaders of tomorrow.
Applications for Southern California’s RMHC scholarships are available through high school counselor offices and career centers throughout Southern California. Additionally, students can download applications online at www.mcdonaldssocal.com or request an application via e-mail at McDonalds@porternovelli.com.

I can hardly get what to eat ,school fees that was after loosing my mum and dad in 1999,who died of cancer i remain
no support with my brother we look for ways of looking of life we did all to the people for support up to when i completed A level but in vein .
