Merit-Based Scholarships at Muslim Youth University in Pakistan, 2017

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing BS programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: MY University offers 100% tuition fee waiver in the form of merit scholarships on the basis of academic excellence in F.A/F.Sc examinations held under the annual system of examination. Students with 80% or above aggregate marks in FA/F. Sc in one attempt is eligible to apply for 100% tuition fee waiver for BS Programs. Students with 75% aggregate marks in FA/F. Sc in one attempt is eligible to apply for 50% tuition fee waiver for BS Programs.

Number of Scholarships: Number of scholarships offered in each semester shall be decided by the University Scholarship Committee on merit.

Scholarship can be taken in Pakistan

Eligibility: Students who are granted scholarships receive an exemption from tuition fee in the first semester. Tuition fee exemption is extended to the subsequent semesters if a student maintains CGPA of 3.80 or higher. If a student on a merit scholarship fails to achieve a CGPA of 3.80 or higher but has a CGPA of 3.50 or higher, then 50% of the tuition fee waiver is given in the subsequent terms. If it falls further to any level between 3.50 to 3.25, the concession is further reduced to 25% of the concession being availed. A position holder in Board/University will also be offered a merit scholarship on the aforementioned criteria.

Nationality: Students from Pakistan are eligible to apply.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement:

  • BS (Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering): At least 60% marks in HSSC (Pre-Engineering) or an equivalent examination as determined by IBCC
  • BS (Computer Science): At least 45% marks in HSSC (Pre-Engineering, ICS, Pre-Medical) or an equivalent examination as determined by IBCC
  • BS (International Relations): At least 45% marks in HSSC or an equivalent examination determined by IBCC.
