Numerous prominent universities are coming forward to fund Michigan scholarships for Michigan’s and international youth. Michigan Scholarships are offered to provide a network of support for domestic and international students to upgrade their education.

From primary level of education the focus of Michigan Schools and Universities is not merely teaching the students but to develop their set of skills and confidence to enter the working world of experienced professionals. Universities go above and beyond to give students the exceptional knowledge and experiences. Each year, Michigan’s public universities serve about 303,000 students, focusing on the liberation of excellent undergraduate and graduate education and equal educational prospects. Number of public universities in Michigan are considered as the key managers and economic drivers in the state. These universities are not just offering scholarships in Michigan but are solely offering for more than one lakh twenty thousand jobs, with spending and earnings accounting for $23.9 billion in the economic activity.

Some of the renowned universities of Michigan are Michigan University, Wayne State University, Michigan Technological University, Michigan State University. These universities offer miscellaneous courses for international and domestic students at all educational degree levels i.e. undergraduate, graduate, PhD and postdoctoral.

The Fran Anderson Michigan PTA Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior that will begin in Michigan College during the 2014 fall semester. For acquiring Michigan scholarship candidates must maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Additional scholarships may be awarded based on availability of funds. Only applications received at the Michigan PTA State Office by January 15, 2014 will be forwarded to the Michigan PTA Scholarship Committee for review.

Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarship 
Katharine M. Grosscup Scholarship is available for rising college juniors, seniors, or Master’s degree candidates in the fall of 2014. For obtaining Michigan Scholarship candidates must have major in Horticulture or related field and 3.5 GPA or better. The deadline for applications is 10th January 2014.

Scholarships in Michigan for High School Graduates
Scholarships in Michigan are available for high school graduates. LMC students have access to over $300,000 in scholarships awarded by the College each year. One of the most prestigious is the full-ride Presidential Scholar Award. Several are given out each year, covering full tuition and fees for three semesters. Priority consideration for 2014 High School Graduates for all Lake Michigan College scholarships will begin December 2013.

MEA Scholarship in Michigan
Michigan Scholarship will be offered on a renewal basis limited to four times in a five-year period. Candidates must be a graduate of a Michigan public high school. The amount and number of scholarships offered each year shall be determined by the trustees of the MEA Scholarship Fund. Eligible students seeking the scholarship shall complete a written application form provided by the fund. Applications will close on February 28, 2014.

Current Student Scholarship
The University of Michiganis offering LSA Scholarship for current students for the fall and winter terms to qualified LSA sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Scholarships range from $500 to $10,000 per year. Applicant must be an undergraduate enrolled in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. They must be a continuing student who has completed at least their freshman year at the time of application. Transfer students from another higher education institution are eligible to apply for their first full year of enrollment. The application for the 2014-2015 academic year will be posted here in January 2014.

Virginia Wagner Award
The Virginia Wagner Award is specific to those states in Midwestern. Women residing in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohi and Wisconsin who are attending college/university in pursuit of a bachelors, masters or doctoral degree are eligible to apply. Judging is based on effort toward education, scholarship, extracurricular activities and financial need. Neither Soroptimists nor family members of Soroptimists may apply. The deadline for scholarships is January 15, 2014.

2014-2015 UM-Flint Scholarships
 These scholarships are offered to students in all programs of study and all grade levels. Scholarships are open to any admitted UM-Flint student. Students may apply only once an aid year. These scholarships recognize and support academic excellence, extracurricular activities, service to the university and community. If you are a current UM-Flint graduate student or have been admitted by June 1, 2014, your application will also be included for graduate scholarship consideration after the June 1 deadline.

Southwestern Michigan College
Southwestern Michigan College offers a variety of scholarships to graduating high school students who have excelled in academics. Scholarship awards are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to donor restrictions, grade point average and need as determined by your current Free Application for Federal students aid. The deadlines for scholarships are January 1, 2014 and June 30, 2014.
