dear Irina Contantino,
now i’m studying in nuclear engineering for master degree. i have been on the last semester. i am doing research about the heat transfer on nuclear power plant AP1000 in scala laboratorium. i wanna to increase my knowledge on the Phd level. may i have some chance in MIT to continue my study at Phd programe with scholarships?

Thank you for your post and for your interest in the MIT Portugal Program.

FCT Scholarships are available for PhD candidates and for the following study programs: PhD in Bio Engineering Systems, Sustainable Energy Systems, Engineering Design and Advanced Manufacturing (Leaders for Technical Industries) and Transportation Systems.
In the Transportation Systems Master’s degree (CTIS), a few corporate scholarships are available.

The scholarships are for study in Portugal and the best students with a scholarship will have the opportunity to conduct some of their doctoral research at MIT.

The Advanced Study courses do not offer scholarships.

I am writing in regard to the M.Sc (full funded) in water resources and environmental effects assessment in watersheds. I am very keen to apply to it.

So that you can judge if I am suitable to apply, I am an Indian Erasmus Mundus master student in Quaternary fluvial system and Prehistory at the National Museum of Natural History, Paris, and I have a Masters in Archeology from Punjab University in Chandigarh (India). Before starting the Erasmus Mundus course, I did a Post-Graduate Diploma in Fluvail system and geoarchaeology archaeology form Deccan College in Poona (India). I understand this is a very brief description, but I can send more information if you need it.

I would like to do a M.Sc. in water resources and environmental effects assessment in watersheds, which was the topic of my Erasmus Masters’ thesis last year. I would appreciate, if you could please inform me about the funding possibilities for this master course.
